A deep rocky inlet next to the natural harbour/cove just below the bottom of the garden provides wonderful snorkelling and, with its series of man-made platforms, is a great place for sand-free diving, swimming and sun worshipping. The natural harbour's slipway also supplies easy access into the water. The bar/restaurant on the seafront serves excellent fresh fish. The beautiful little beach of Binisafua is just 10 minutes walk away.

Binibeca Vell, an enchanting resort built in the style of an old fishing village, is a few minutes walk in the opposite direction. It has a small supermarket and a number of other shops, bars and restaurants, which are open from May through to the end of September. In high season it has enough nightlife to satisfy most young teenagers.
A hire car is a must if you want to explore the island. Hire cars are usually cheaper if booked in advance and can be collected at the airport on arrival. The villa is about 15 minutes drive from the airport and also from Mahón.
